Vietnam!

I was in Vietnam recently, and for those who pay attention, yes, immediately after Germany. In a rough transition time of around 6 days, I found myself going from Europe to Hawaii, to South-East Asia. The jet lag was amazing. But, I know we aren't here to listen to my complaining. I did have an awesome time for my 3rd trip to Vietnam, and here are some pictures ranging from Da-Nang to Hue City, and Hoi-An. Please enjoy what I saw, and feel free to like/share this page.

While getting ready to leave Germany, one of my fellow JPACers got bored, and we decided to take a few portraits before we left the hotel, so we grabbed a few cigars, my Canon 6d, 28-300mm lens, and shot with natural lighting, (I had done a huge photographer no-no, packed my flashes) So, with some editing and a vision to turn these photos into a darker/gangster/mob kind of feel to it, I got these results!

Britton, thanks man!
please enjoy!

During my recent trip to Germany, I got to go to both Berlin, and Heidelberg. I immensely enjoyed both of these cities, the history that surrounds them, both good and bad, is an amazing learning experience. I envy the Germans who get to grow up surrounded by so much history. The castles, gates, even roman influences are just breathtaking. Being able to walk up to the Brandenburg gate, it was awesome. I was saddened by the event arena that was on the other side of it for the world cup, (Congrats Germany), but, I am immensely glad i got to go. Please enjoy the photographs I took during my trip.

So as we all know by now I have been traipsing around Germany. Here are a few of the "smaller" lifeforms I have seen while out here. Among the varying bugs, horseflies and other biting animals, here are a few... cooler ones. (maybe)

Please enjoy, and make sure you like my facebook page for more content!

LAO PDR

I have been to the Lao People's Democratic Republic a few times, most recently I went back in January-February of 2014. The first time I went in October of 2010. Let me say, ALLOT has changed, but also, allot has remained the same. The country is amazing to visit, the place is a photographers gold mine. Large, majestic mountains, friendly people, and a good variety of colors to keep one interested. Here are a view of the places I have seen and done while in the LAO PDR.

Schloss Schwerin

I had the opportunity to travel to the town of Schwerin, there is a magnificent palace, or Schloss, in German. The palace is situated on a small island, and is incredibly beautiful. I wish i had more time to explore the surrounding town, as it kept in the traditional old building style. The palace was huge, but unfortunately most of it was still under renovation, the wing that they let us in housed the throne room, and the ducal wall. This wall had all the paintings of the past rulers from the 1100s. (My memory is a bit fuzzy on this detail, forgive me if I am wrong). But overall, it was cheap to enter, I believe 4 Euros, and another 3 Euro to take pictures, and I was in! There was even a smaller part of the Schloss dedicated to the porcelain collection. Which by the way, is very very old, and they have ALOT of it. Please enjoy the photographs below.

Also, here is the website for the Schloss. ENJOY!
